About

Based in Bedfordshire, north of Bedford, I am a web developer with a passion for programming.

I have been developing websites for 5 years, and in that time picked up experience with a whole host of web technologies meaning that I have the right tools for any Job. I take pride in designing easy-to-use websites and web applications that are clean and easy on the eye, while also coding to W3C standards.

When designing and building a website I focus on producing a solution that achieves your goals at the same time as offering quality user experience. This involves producing a website that:

  • Can be accessed on a wide range of devices such as TVs, mobile phones, tablets, and desktop computers via responsive design.
  • Is optimised for performance.
  • Follows accessibility, search engine, and other best practices.
  • Uses technology progressively.

Testimonials

My company is launching a new surfwear brand in Indonesia and we needed a website showcasing our products and promotional media. James constructed an amazingly adaptive page from scratch, utilising our graphics in a clean and responsive layout for both desktop and mobile. The page exceeded our expectations and his timely and professional work allowed us to focus more on the business knowing the digital side was in safe hands.

FAQ

Responsive web design is a relatively new approach to website design that ensures users have a good viewing experience no matter what type of device they’re using. It’s become increasingly important over the last few years as mobile device ownership has exploded and traditional PC sales have slowed. And now that Google is prioritizing mobile-friendly sites in its search results algorithm, it’s essential to make sure your site is optimized for mobile by using responsive design.
The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) developed to promote consistency in the design code which makes up a web page. Without getting technical, simply it's the guideline for the mark-up language which determines how a web page. displays in a visitor's browser window.
All my websites are custom made. The website will have a completely unique design that will incorporate your company’s branding and will be based around the needs of your business.
